Who is George Anagnostou?

I'm always working on some project, and I like writing about my interests, too. At a high level, I really enjoy learning about and tinkering with software, especially anything old, minimal, or creative. I love learning and practicing different human languages, too: English is my mother tongue, I am conversational in German, and I am currently learning Greek. I recently got into triathlons and marathons, and they have been a lot of fun!

I work in finance, but software is what gets me energized. My reading list wanders from the current state of Rust to debugging kernel bugs in Solaris, then over to the beauty of literate programming. Check out lobste.rs.

I love teaching, too. At work, I've started a Python and AI training series for colleagues. Outside work, I'm getting to know the academic software communities in San Francisco. I like finding people who want to go deep on a subject, whether that's software, history, or something I don't know about yet.
